Check the videos and pictures of our FIT OCEAN heroes digging up >200 kg of plastic out of the Lake. We where so surprised what came up. If that comes out of the otherwise beatutifull 4 forest Lake in Switzerland, image what else can be fished out of lakes and oceans. Big thank you to our heroes: Marcel, Sven, Yvonne, Luki, Stefan, Ayden, Andi. Closing the day with a drink & campfire, awsome day in life.
Congrats Alexander Sterzik 1st place short distance race lake Constance Germany/ Switzerland

No plastics in the water Statement
Posted onTogether with our factory and it’s suppliers of raw materials we strive for a clean way of production of the FIT OCEAN boards, which we formalized in a joint statement. Background story: we paddle ourselves a lot and see for ourselves there is a lot of plastics in rivers and with that in oceans, that have the origin from cities and production facilities. Hence the production process of the fIT OCEAN boards, which we influence ourselves must be clean. We thank our production partners for their understanding and commitment.
It’s Quality Assurance Check Time Again!
Posted onIt’s that time of the year again when we have a change of scenery and timezone. Yes, that’s because we visit our factory in China for the quality assurance checking of our 2019 Fit Ocean board production.
Although we know that the factory is extremely good, we still check it ourselves to be sure that you, our customers, will be on the water with one of the best quality produced inflatable SUP boards possible.
All the jetlag experience and daily checking of boards from day-to-day are worth it. And you might ask if all the boards are excellently made, what are we going to do on our days off? We go stand-up-paddle!
This coming Summer season, we are introducing the 2019 Fit Ocean Sports as a great option for sporty beginners in stand-up-paddling who want a faster board than the typical beginner boards. With a length of 11’3″, a width of 30″, and a thickness of 6″, it is perfect for long distance touring adventures.
In fact, we tested this board on the water just last week in China. We were able to enjoy a 2-hour water tour on it! So, if you plan to have your kid on board with you, it is possible, too. It is something your kid will enjoy.
After a wonderful 2-hour time touring the waters, we were exhausted, but satisfied with the overall drive of the SUP. At last, we cap it off with a nice modest beer, paid using a phone!
Just like what we have done in the previous years, we have checked over thousands of boards. The 2019 Fit Ocean collection of inflatable SUPs are more robust and they come with a thicker surface. We want you all to have a fantastic time on the waters and have a memorable time with your family and friends.

Our Experience at the Paddleexpo.com : SUCCESS!
Posted onJust like any other first-time experiences, the Fit Ocean team was thrilled to participate at the Paddleexpo in Nuremberg, Germany in the last three days. Tagged as the biggest and most celebrated trade show in Europe, it is a great venue for meeting like-minded awesome people in the paddle sports industry. An estimated 300 businesses participated at the trade show.
The Fit Ocean team primarily showcased their US Fin Box system currently equipped in the Fit Ocean Ultra. This idea all started from a problem the design team saw with existing inflatable SUPs. The fin box glued on the bottom of the iSUP boards causes drag. The design team produced a fin box with US fin box system that can be glued inside the hull just like with hard boards.
Aside from this, the Fit Ocean team displayed their product line for 2019, which includes the following:
- FAMILY (NEW)
- CRUISE (TOUR-FAVORITE)
- GLIDE (BESTSELLER)
- PALM LADY (NEW)
- ULTRA (RACE-WORTHY)
- SPEEDSTER (HIT)
- SPORTS (NEW)
- CARBON PADDLES (IN WONDERFUL COLORS)
- INFLATABLE COUCH/TABLE
This coming Summer season, the Fit Ocean brand still has the same goal which is for customers to have a fantastic day on the water with top-quality gear for good prices, be it for paddling alone, with a friend, with a partner, with kids, or with a pet.
More and more families are taking their precious time to bond and we, the Fit Ocean team understands this. Boards fitting family needs were created. We also considered the ladies who are daring, a bit hesitant, and shy. SUP sports does not have to be an intimidating one so Fit Ocean has additional models that cater to different preferences of women. Most of all, those who love races and tours are in the loop for exciting adventures with the Fit Ocean product offering next year.
Overall, joining the Paddleexpo was a successful experience. It was an opportunity to exhibit the creativity and expertise of the team and vibe off with the people in the industry. We hope to join again next year with a desire to showcase more offerings.

1st place 2018 GlaGla SUP Race 14ft inflatable
Posted onSaterday FIT OCEAN Team racers paddled the GlaGla Race. This is a race in Annecy France with 500 participants on lake Annecy.
For FIT OCEAN Team racer Michael paddled place 23 in his catagory, much respect as we only had a Ultra 12’6 board available. And Christoph who paddled place 1 in the 14ft inflatable short distance catagory.
Interview with Christoph, who won the shortdistance, catagory 14ft infltable SUP
FO: How was it?
CH: My goal here was the olympic motto: participating is more important then winning. I had not done a lot of preparation so was not aiming for competition. As they say in Switzerland: ” being there is everything”.
FO: What about the race itself. How did it develop?
CH: Basically it was a long haul forward, a turn around the buoy and then i saw lots of paddlers behind me.
FO: What did you think about the board (Christoph paddled the 2018 FIT OCEAN ULTRA 14ft)
CH: It was very stable and fast. It is more stable then my Red Paddle Elite 14ft. The conditions were sometimes very choppy so stability is key for racing. I don’t know if it is faster, we would have to measure that. I loved the ULTRA board and will buy one for my next season.
FO: What would you change about the board?
CH: About the 14ft I really would not change anything, except maybe include a fin with the FCS II connect system instead of the now included FCS I.
FO: What fin did you use?
CH: Danny Chang FCS II
FO: Do you have any other technical tipps for board design?
CH: First off, I am impressed with the quality of the fIT OCEAN boards. I am amazed how good the gluing of the FIT OCEAN boards are. I had the shorter version ULTRA 12’6 for more then a month at home and kept it’s pressure perfectly. What I would change is the following. I really like the tail of the 14ft and think you should use that design also for the shorter 12’6 ULTRA board.
FO: Thank you so much for the interview, see you on the water!
Factory inspection 2018 iSUP’s
Posted onThousands of FIT OCEAN boards and all perfectly constructed. Call us a little bit crazy but we still do inspect every single board by hand. And besides, it is great to meet the folks in the factories personally, discuss new technologies and ofcourse thank them for their work.
The FIT OCEAN boards for 2018 look astonishing, the colors came out spectacular and it was extremely hard to find any errors during this check, except for some pencil marking to erase or polishing. We look forward to selling these boards next year and knowing the quality is that good we will have an easy year.
All iSUP’s in the world are being produced in China. The FIT OCEAN’s in one the most renown factories in the industrie with highly skilled workers.
Clockwise
1) Found a little marking during inspection to polish off. It reads ’30’ which is a code for the worker who made the board
2) We asked to meet who this is and where introduced to Mr. Zho
3) Checked!
