With a width of 32” (81cm) and a volume of 340 liters, the board offers enough stability for beginners. The magic of this board is of course the nose, which cuts through the water and creates neither a bow wave nor a splash. Advanced paddlers also understand that this board falls back onto its cutting nose after each paddling stroke, which provides much less resistance than without such a nose. You don’t need a hard board, you need a hard nose. With Alexander Stertzik, pro SUP racer, we further improved the shape and switched from normal dropstitch to woven dropstitch, which made the boards another 30% lighter. Together with a good pump and a Wheely backpack you are ready for the ride!

Let’s get into detail

(1) Large wheelie backpack with 2 wheels on one side and the comfortable padded straps on the other side so they don’t drag over the floor. Ventilated sidewall so you don’t have to dry your board.
(2) Best quality pump by BRAVO (model 4) with double/ single action modus for fast and comfortable inflation. Because the pump can do 2 bar (30 psi), has an ergonomic handle and footrest, it is easy to reach the recommended pressure of 1.2 bar (20 psi).
(3) English and german manual with set-up, maintenance, technic and safety tips
(4) Single US Box fin easy to use (universal system)
(5) Spanner to tighten your valve once a year
Depending which package you choose to buy the boards comes with a paddle (6) and/or leash (7)

Conclusion Test

The Fit Ocean Force Touring Boards are sporty cut SUP boards and optimal for medium and long distances. Due to the two large luggage nets, you have enough space to be well supplied even on tours lasting several days. Qualitatively, the two copies undoubtedly belong to the premium segment.

The double-layered outer shell is very robust, yet quite light and makes the boards stiff and resilient. Especially the carbon nose and the tear-off edge make themselves felt with outstanding gliding properties. The boards cut through the water very nicely and have a very good displacement.

The difference in length is discreetly noticeable in the mileage. The Fit Ocean Force Touring 12’6 is shorter and thus a bit more flexible to steer, while the Fit Ocean Force Touring 13’2 is even more track stable and also a bit more gliding. In addition, the larger board is somewhat more resilient due to its higher volume.

The accessory package includes everything needed to get started and the quality is also good. Especially the backpack trolley is high quality and a real relief. For the paddle you have the choice between different models in different price ranges…you can find a comparison test here.

Due to the very high quality of the boards, you should of course not opt for the aluminum paddle, the carbon paddles fit much better with the performance of the models. Overall, the Fit Ocean Force Touring Boards are among the more expensive premium models, but they also offer you a lot of value in terms of quality and are really fast!
